Explore the Art of Paper folding.Make some simple Origami Animals and create a Farm Scene.

Made of two words “Ori” – means to Fold and “Kami”  – means Paper. Origami is the Japanese art of capturing  the essence of something beautiful and symbolic through Paper Sculputures.

Join us for a Unique telling of “The Paper Crane”.The Japanese consider the Paper Cranes to be Lucky. Molly Bang in this book tells a Wonderful Story of a family who expereinces the luck of a Paper Crane.

 Come and gather what nations are doing to protect, conserve, recycle and save water. Let’s get the kids protect the future in their own little way.

Please Note:This session is open to members and their guests only. A Charge of Rs 100 is applicable for Members.

Come Along and Hone your debating Skills with Aunty Sandhya and learn the art of speaking comfortably and confidently.

An exclusive workshop which teaches kids to learn the art of effectively organising thoughts, making sharp rebuttals, the right body language and posture, and the way to win debates.

Sandhya Ruban, a multitalented personality, A Dental surgeon, AStoryteller, Content Developer, Script writer, Voice  over artist etc. will conduct “Extempore”, a public speaking workshop for kid at Hippocampus.

 Come along and Join Hoo for a fast paced Sing – A-Long Session withAunty Sujata. Hum and Sing to some catchy tunes and Snappy Lyrics.

Sujata jaishankar, a music teacher has taught music and songs at various schools, has a number of CD’s to her credit, has done a few sessions at Hippocampus too.

Ever Wondered how the turtle got its shell,the elephant its fan shaped ears .. How the Peacocok lost it’s voice and why the little bird was left questioning ??

Join us at Hippocampus for this wonderful Book Reading session and listen to stories of vain creatures, gentle birds, frolicking monkeys, brave kings and mighty warriors.

Enter the world of Mythological tales with Hema Vaidyanathan, the author of Amma’s Tales.

Sat 11th March || Time: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm||Ages:3-6  years
 
A fun and exciting combination of dance & exercise.
 
Great music will keep your children moovin’and groovin’ to the beat! Let’s learn to incorporate fitness with fun using props . Children will have a ball during this hour of play.
 
Kids are welcome to wear any comfortable clothes, that they can move in. Girls can wear tights or shorts and Boys should wear shorts or sweat pants.
 
A program that’s designed to make becoming fit just plain fun .Mrinalini Sekar from Blue Movement Gym will mentor this session.
