Come along and join us for some stories that bring waste to life . “Tale Spin” and “Paper Man”, through this initiative aim to use stories to inspire children toward smart waste management.
The session will comprise of a story, an activity and a game that instills in children the need for effective waste management.
Join us at Hippocampus this Saturday and be a part of the Re-start Earth series !!

Have you ever tried making a Soup with stones?? Add a carrot or two, some cabbage, beans and corn , spice it up with some salt, pepper & herbs .

Come along for a storytelling and reading of the famous french folk tale “STONE SOUP”, which also won the Caldecott award way back in 1947.

Join us as we make some soup and garlic bread to go along with the story.Indira Ananthakrishnan, a famous author and storyteller will be at Hippocampus this saturday for the storytime .

We also have Praba Ram, the author of  ‘Bijoy and the Big River’, and many other non-fiction books with us to flag off our Reading programme.Get tips from Praba on fun ways to instill a love of reading in your child.

Because everything changes when we Read…

Each book you read will fetch you points, the best and fastest reader will be rewarded and all participants will be given a certificate.

Puppetry is the art of bringing inanimate objects to life.Children do this instinctively, when they pick a spoon or an action figure and give it voice and movement.

  Come along and listen to some stories with Aunty Nivedita and what’s more you get to make some puppets too!!
