Hop aboard the Sugar Rush Express and learn to bake along with Anusha. Whip, mix, stir, smash and measure your way to a drool-worthy treat!

Anusha kaushik, founder of Delicioso, a one stop bake shop conducts workshops for kids. Easy to make, simple recipes and methodologies which will introduce children to the world of baking.

Sandhya Ruban is the creative head of Eloquens, a platform that offers customized workshops for children – focusing on developing speech, inter-personal communication and social skills. She is a part of the World Storytelling Institute and loves storytelling as well.

If you love animation and art and want to know more about it, then come over this summer and learn something new with Sandhya Prabhat. Watch as she helps make you your own stop-motion movie. What’s more! You get your own copy too!

Mentors: Sandhya Prabhat & Chaaya

Sandhya Prabhat is an independent illustrator and animator based in Chennai. She was one of the animators for ‘The Diary of Amos Lee’ TV Series that aired in the MediaCorp Okto Channel in Singapore. Over the last couple of years, she has worked on projects based in India, Singapore, Switzerland and the U. S. A. She is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts Asia and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Animation and Digital Arts

Chaaya is currently in the second year of the Bachelor of Arts degree in English at Stella Maris College, Chennai. Chaaya is a cartoonist, artist and animator. She was invited by The Indian Express newspaper to run her cartoon strip, “Susie”, when she was around eleven. She has numerous other awards in related areas to her credit.

CODING FOR KIDS!

Workshop in SCRATCH Programming

This Summer, sit at the computer…. not playing games,but creating your own Interactive Stories….Animations….Doing the actual programming to create them all !

An Introduction to basic Programming workshop that gives young minds the freedom to let their imagination fly and see their skills translated into virtual reality. It uses design – based learning approach to support development of children’s computational thinking through explorations with SCRATCH.

NOTE: Kids should bring their Own Laptop.

Aero World is the Business Partner of Aero-Sports in Chennai. They promote short term and long term aero-modelling workshops in schools and colleges. The Science Factory is one of India’s first science enrichment programs for school kids, making science study a truly visual and participative experience. The Science Factory conducts workshops and partners with schools to offer hands-on, fun, scientific experiences designed especially for children between the ages of 4 to 11.

Vandana enjoys doing storytime, craft and fireless cooking with kids. Started off as a hobby, but now runs workshops and does birthday events too.

Senthil is a dance choreographer who has represented Indian in an International Dance competition in Malaysia. He has been in the showbiz industry for over a decade as a performer, choreographer and instructor. He is also an expert at Zumba and loves having Zumba parties!

Shivani is an independent artist who loves doodling and creating artwork in her free time. She is also a certified yoga instructor. Her craft activities are fun, interactive and simple!

Sapna is a national level orator and have represented India in rotary’s youth conferences abroad. She has been working with kids for over 8 years and love to explore the world of learning with kids!

Come learn some zazzy dance moves with Aparna, as she teaches you how to dance and shake with Dr Seuss’s Mr Brown can Moo, Can you? Make Seuss-static crafts along with Sri Vidya, and have a wunderly-funderly time!

Aparna Nagesh is a versatile dance professional with over 14 years of training, teaching and performance experience. She has trained extensively in dance styles such as Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Modern, Contemporary and a few Latin styles. Currently she runs her own all girl dance ensemble, High Kicks as well as Showstoppers INC which is an Arts Promotion and Entertainment solutions brand

­Sri Vidya, conducts activity classes while she was in Singapore during the last decade and continued the same even after she migrated back to Chennai during 2005. She has conducted art & craft classes at National library of Singapore and at Choa chu kang & Yew Tee community centers in Singapore.
