But, a warning to watch out for the endearing character Amar Kishen - the Butterfinger from Tinkle Comics – now in a book all his own!
Join us for a fun book reading session by the author - Khyrunnisa A at Hippocampus Experience Centre, Chennai.
You all know Amar Kishen – the boy called Butterfingers by his parents, friends and also teachers. Books… balls… bats… people..anything can go flying when Butter is on the loose.
In this maiden novel by Khyrunnisa - a prize-winning author of children’s fiction, Butter is appointed the Vice Captain of his school’s cricket team which has to win a Limited Overs Cricket Trophy. The team starts practising in earnest, but disasters follow in quick succession. The star all-rounder breaks his hand; the captain has his fifteenth birthday too soon; and, worst of all, the school is about to lose its playground! Now it is up to Amar to lead the team to victory and save the day.
But can he? Will his team win the coveted trophy and save their school’s grounds or will it slip from their grasps like a classic Butterfingers catch?
