Reading Brisingr

“Oaths sworn… Loyalties tested… Forces collide.”
Those are the words on the back of the book, and they pretty much sum up what you can expect from the third book of the Inheritance Cycle! I don’t want to give too much away so if you are familiar with the spoilers that Christopher Paolini posted on alagaesia.com that’s about how much you can expect from the book and a bit more!
The book picks up four days after Eldest finishes and we find Eragon helping Roran rescue Katrina from the Razac. Will he succeed? You’ll have to find that out for yourself! Something you can definitely
expect from the book, without me giving away anything, is action packed battle sequences! Like Eldest, the book is divided into different parts. The book is written from the 3 points of view –
Eragon’s, Roran’s and Nasuada’s! In case you’re rusty on the details of the first two books, like I was, don’t worry, there is a good summary of all the important details at the beginning of the book!
Which is better than reading the other two books all over again, unless you want to!
All in all, a must read for all you Inheritance fans!
Until the final book comes out – “Atra du evanínya ono varda”
(May the stars watch over you)
