Sunday, 22nd July ’07 at 7:30 am – 1:30 pm (approx.): Monsoon Adventure-Hill Climbing (Ages 7 & above, subject to min group size of 15 children)
Join a trek that’s a great step into adventure… 56 Kms from Bengaluru, the trek starts at the foothills of Nandi Hills at Sultanpet. There on, you’ll use the stone steps that edges gently on the slopes to reach the summer rest house of Tippu Sultan situated inside the hilltop fortress… Phew! ………………And… what a view!!
Fee: Rs.300 per child, includes transportation by non a/c coach, snacks and mentor fees.
Essentials: Wear comfortable full cotton casual top, full cotton trouser and lightweight rubber soled canvas shoes or sneakers. In a small backpack carry sunhat, water bottle, and a packed breakfast. Snacks will be provided.
Trip notes: * This event not only grooms and prepares children to undertake higher adventure sports but also is an activity to explore character in children and develop life skills. * The activity matches an average child’s physical and psychological needs. * Parents are advised not to instruct participating children with do’s and don’ts.. Weather conditions, physical condition, possible health problems and other factors can have an important influence on the way you experience the trip. * We advise participants to pack only curiosity and leave expectations at home. * For team safety, please inform the organizers if participants have any history of serious illness, injury or are on medication. * In event of poor weather, the trip will still take place. Wear appropriate wet weather clothing, after checking the weather forecast. *
