Maha Shivaratri is celebrated throughout the country on 16th February. The name means “the night of Shiva” as it suggests the ceremonies take place chiefly at night. Our very own Quiz Master, Srinidhi has organized an exciting Mythological Quiz for you. So if are you up to the quiz masters challenge, register right away!
18th Feb’07, Sunday at 11:00 am: Chinese New Year (Ages 5 & above)
Chinese New Year is the biggest holiday for the Chinese. Celebrated at the beginning of spring, it is a time when families and friends get together to say goodbye to the old and welcome the new. And this new year signals the Year of the Pig. And not just any year of the pig but a golden one that is especially auspicious and comes only once in 60 years.
We are celebrating with “Chinese Dragons” and “Curly Snakes” and Jyothi Aunty is here to help you make them! So come over in your Chinese best!
Please register for both these activities by Friday.

Treat yourself this Valentine. Learn to make and eat some yummy heart shaped cutlets and chocolates this Valentine. Let’s also find out why St. Valentines is celebrated all over the world.

It is time to celebrate Srilanka’s Birthday. What do you know about the Pearl of the Indian ocean? Collect every picture you can that depicts something about this beautiful country and come over to make a collage!
Sun 11th Feb 07 – 11 to 1 pm: Story Telling by Uma aunty (12 and above)
Uma aunty is here to read a Judy Blume book for all you Judy fans out there!
